Spangeman

Since attempting to join a multiplayer game with friends I am now unable to play the game in single or multiplayer. In any game mode the menus open and then close immediately. Crafting menu, inventory etc. all do it. We are all playing on steam, logged into Xbox with cross-play enabled. Has anyone else had this issue or have any ideas for how to fix it?

Did this ever get resolved for you? all of my menus are immediately closing after opening.
