Game did the same thing, I had 2 different worlds I am shared with, the first one I've created became corrupted as soon as the game locked up and crashed. I couldn't even create copy of that save file I was able to save one using the save a copy but I had to delete all the previous saves to keep it, we lost the world with alot of progression. Game still randomly locks up and crashes and seems to happen more often Playing on both xBox series X and PC xbox app non-steam.
