  1. It would be so cool to have ants create an ant colony supply chain between multiple bases on the map! Like if you had one main base and the smaller outposts around the map to unload resources and stock backup on supplies without having to go back to your main base. Or pneumatic tubes for resources would be cool too.
  2. Yes, please! If the host leaves, the role of host rolls to the next player who joined.
  3. My husband and I have a shared hosted save for our Xbox Series X that has worked fine for both of us all week, taking turns hosting depending on who was off work first, but suddenly today it would not load for him. When he tried Hosting > Continue the save, it crashed the whole game and returned him to the Xbox home page. It loaded fine for me when I tried hosting it; he could join me, but when I stopped hosting and he tried again, it failed. We tried all sorts of things from his Xbox - deleting the saves, deleting and reloading the game, letting it resync the cloud data, but nothing was working. However, I noticed that he had Auto Saves set to 5, where mine was set to 3. So, I had him change the Options > Auto Save > Auto Save = 0 from the main menu before loading the game, and the game loaded just fine. Once he was in, he changed the Auto Saves back to 3. He's off adventuring again, while I have to go back to work lol. We wanted to share this in case anyone else has this issue. I don't know if it's a conflict between who hosted last and the number of auto saves, but setting it to 0 and then relaunching seems to have fixed his issue.
  4. While playing last night, I encountered an inventory screen issue that required me to restart the game. I was also able to repeat the menu lockup after the game reloaded. Btw, I'm playing on an Xbox Series X console, and I was hosting a multiplayer game and was the only one in the lobby. To recreate the issue, I opened a storage basket, transferring inventory between myself and the basket. While on my side of the inventory screen, I highlighted a red ant egg and brought up the submenu to look at the recipe for it. After it loaded the recipe menu, no buttons would respond at all. I could still hear background activity sounds from a snail and an aphid passing by, but the B button did not back out of the menu. No buttons would do anything, and I had to quit and reopen the game. I repeated it with the red ant egg and storage basket, but I didn't try to do this with other items. I did not try this with the storage chest because I had not unlocked it yet, and I was so excited to be playing, I just made a note and moved on. Later, while my husband was hosting a different game save and our nephew was playing (all of us on Xbox Series X consoles), the game crashed and kicked us back to the main screen. We were all exploring separate areas, but when the game reloaded, we were in exactly the same position with all the same inventory items. I have nothing specific to report for a root cause; I just wanted to give kudos for the game reloading exactly where we were after a crash. The only other thing we noticed while playing last night was that random rocks and grass kept strobe flashing in and out, while I believe it was time for them to respawn after they'd been harvested. The option to harvest would come up, but we couldn't really interact with the resource to make it stop or go away. However, after about 10-15 minutes, the resources stopped flashing or disappeared. The last issue/question to add is how do you automatically return to sprinting after stamina regenerates? In Grounded 1, when sprint was enabled, it would auto-start sprinting again after stamina refilled. Is that a menu option I have set incorrectly, or was that a change for Grounded 2 to conserve stamina? If so, for quality of life improvement request from myself, can it please be added back as a menu option? Is this the right place to request such a change if this is not a user issue? When farming for resources, I like to put on the aphid slippers and boogie through the yard. But last night, it was kind of annoying to have to keep clicking the left stick to start running again after the stamina bar ran out. Maybe that's a personal preference, but I enjoy being able to zip through the yard for resources or just general exploring, and just keep running. None of this is meant to be negative in any way. I hope it was constructive enough to be repeatable in testing. Some of the new button mapping was a learning curve, but it is so much fun! It is so frustrating when sequels change the original recipe that made the gameplay so great. Fantastic job picking up where we left off and keeping the same gameplay magic while continuing the story and adding to the journey that makes this game so awesome.
