  1. I just started playing PoE for the first time after beating Avowed and was really getting into it. Unfortunately this bug still exists and it looks like it has been reported off and on for a full decade! I am not running antivirus or using OneDrive. I can see the save file in my C:\Users\whfol\Saved Games\Pillars of Eternity directory with the right timestamp, but no such save shows up when I try to load saved games. Looks like the game is just writing an invalid file it does not recognize. I have had the same symptom off and on since I started PoE and at first I thought I was just forgetting to quicksave. This time for sure I quicksaved, died and when I went to reload - no save! Lost another hour of progress because my quicksave was completely inaccessible and I had to revert to an autosave. In the unlikely event anyone at Obsidian is working on this old issue I can send in my game file.
