  1. Hi, I was excited to play Avowed on both my PC and Xbox Series X but was disappointed to find out that the game doesn't support full screen with resolution options on PC. This is a kind of game that just plays better with mouse and keyboard. I have a fairly powerful PC (Ryzen 5, 7800 XT, 48GB RAM) but I got it connected to my 43" 4k gaming TV. The game by default in full screen runs in 4k as it's my obvious chosen Windows resolution. I do not support nor do I like upscalers as it makes the games ugly with all the visual artifacts, so I tend to run my games in native resolution (usually at 1440p). At the moment the game runs at a terrible 35-45fps in the locked 4k state. A simple resolution option will fix this issue just like all the other 99% of games, especially from a AAA stand point. Yes, I know I can change the internal resolution but why must I for just one program? Yes, FSR is there but I'll rather suffer the lost frames instead. But a simple resolution switch with borderless/fullscreen mode will fix this problem for thousands of gamers out there. Much obliged, an Obsidian fan.
