I had suddenly bad performance , it was one of the ant hills. See the post linked here: its the ant hill by the sandbox for me. It had 700 something peices of food . When I arrived there was 6 ants inside it and sooo much lag. Picking up on mass and then trashing the entire stack over and over until no food remained fixed my performance. ,

Clearing out the ant hill metioned in the reddit post fixed my issue. There was around 700 food bits in the ant hill by the garbage

Seeing the exact same thing here with 2 players on steam version . We started the save on 1.0 launch and of this weekend , me the host keeps seeing the 1 to 2 second pausing
