Having the same issue explained in this thread When I am play multiplayer if one of us is dying and they quit before giving up or respawning their currently equiped items such as amour, weapons, charms and shield all disappear when we log back in. We fall victim to this because of game crash’s when we are dying. Each of us have fell victim to this bug and it makes all that adventure go down the drain. The backpack stays the same but with you currently equipped items gone. Plus one to this post, same issue happened to 2 friends on the same conditions when playing a shared world on xbox series s/x, lost everything equipped including accesory, really game breaking experience
