Just finished reinstalling the game and made a quick dash for the affected area, seem to work this time. I made a backup of my save files, but these were not needed as steam, apparently had made its own Will try a proper play through of the area when I get back from work, but it would seem that reinstalling helped.

Yes I have tried restarting from the safehouse, same crashes occur. I have Steam version btw, checked game integrity and it was fine. Will try too reinstall and see if that solves anything.

Same problem different mission, mine is in the Taipei one with the hotel. Game freezes up in the same area, kinda hard to avoid as it is a corridor you have to pass. Im thinking it fails on a checkpoint or something like that
