I played 3 playthroughs like that, pistols and melee are amazingly good

Well except for the boss battles.
Serious, who thought of that? I can kill super commando's with one shot but a mute girl with 2 laserguided revolverblasting machine gun takes 6 shots in the head? Come on, say goodbey to a part of the setting. Allso this is pretty anyoing when you're just a spy with a pistol, cause you cant get the critical aim because she has to machine gun shooting revolvers with laser guides on them... But still I keep on playing.
Ofcourse my screen laggs for a large part of a second but I manage to storm out on the coartyard with him,
Try 1. He dies after 5 seconds, trying to beat a commando with his pistol.
*loading screen of 55 seconds, yes I counted.
Try 2. etc, etc..
About the boss battles: it's a RPG, it's normal that bosses aren't whimps. It's not a shooter.
The save Surkov mission is pretty easy, just use martial arts and don;t let htem to close to Surkov, first time I made it easy.
Oh maybe don't play it on a laptop and change some things on the ini files to get a better framerate

First playthrough I did, I could talk with Surkov at Moloteck, make a deal without fighting Championchik and shooting Surkov in his leg. So you can avoid the final boss fight in Moscow even if you kill Brayko.

Unfortunately negativity of any kind will be quashed by the absurdly devoted.
This game is bad. Truly bad on many levels. The controls and graphics are unforgivably dated for what I had assumed to be a AAA title. While graphics aren't particularly important to me, they are to everyone else. Even overlooking them, the game's opening chapter is bland, hacking minigames annoying. I couldn't get beyond the first 30 minutes of the game. Cry foul and gripe at me for giving up so early. Fact remains, if I can't stomach the first 30 minutes of the game, something is seriously wrong. Anyone who works in entertainment knows the first chapter is always the most crucial in terms of sales. If a book doesn't grab its reader within the first few pages, most are going to set it aside no matter how great the ending may be.
Now, I said this game is bad on multiple levels. By that I mean this is most likely Obsidian's death knell. I don't know how Obsidian is doing financially, but I imagine a lot was riding on Alpha Protocol. It will not sell well. It will not be a cult hit. The game is a flop. This is bad because I think the folks at Obsidian are truly talented. They made Mask of the Betrayer, after all, and many of them worked at Black Isle.
I have my fingers crossed that New Vegas will be enough to keep Obsidian afloat. It would be sad to see them collapse.
I think you will be quashed, not because your negative, but because your negative after only playing a game for 30 minutes!

Plis the most expensive weapons aren't always the best. With assault rifles on of the best is only 19.000 to buy, so choose wisely!

I went from pc to 360, cause it just plays smoother

I had only level 1 for hacking, but I liked how the controller responds on hacking and now on the 360 without the framerate drops it's really easy!

I liked the DLC's of Borderlands (2 of the 3), it gave a lot of hours of playing or Fallout 3 DLC. If it's like that a few more hours, I would be incredible happy

Did you add the
OneFrameThreadLag=False
.ini tweak or just the
UseBackgroundLevelStreaming=false
Both should eliminate most peoples lag/mouse problems Blackwolfe.
Cesko, you may be right that the controls are much nicer, but a PC will always look better. With luck the patch will make the controls a little more PC friendly.
I'm not playing for the graphics, but for the experience and I played on pc also with a controller, but the feel wasn't great and now on the 360 I would give the game a higher rating, just because it plays better

Although G22's story is still untold, I really felt if I could join a faction it would be G22. They are professional and what thufirhawat333 said; they see the big picture. The only thing they care for is stability in the world and I think that isn't a bad idea

Read the forum, most people have no major problems. Those that get some of the problems like mouse movement or lag can be fixed. I suggest getting the PC version, but that is only because I think consoles suck. :D
Also ignore reviews in general, read forums and listen to people you trust.
No word on a patch yet, but that does not mean none are coming.
I just went from the pc version to the xbox 360 version and what a change. Mini games way better, no framedrops, so atm I think the console versions are better
