  1. Returning player after 6 months away here...... In the menus, the attack speed of both the Coaltana and Antlion Greatsword matches the attack speed of the Salt Morningstar (i.e. 3½ bars) However, in practice the ACTUAL attack speed matches VERY closely to the Mint Mace/Broodmother Club (i.e. less than a bar), which basically makes both swords now redundant compared to other weapons in the game. Given that the damage output of the Coaltana/Antlion Greatsword is 1-2 bars less (dependant on upgrades) than the highest damage clubs in the game, please can you alter the speed stats to match its stat card. Many thanks
  2. Have you tried scanning the map for "Widow Fang", etc to see if its present? Mind you this isnt totally reliable but could help perhaps.... I fought this one around 2 weeks ago but havent checked if its respawned yet. Have you tried killing other Widows to maybe affect what happens to other Widow spawns? Im clutching at straws here but just shooting ideas....
  3. I had a similar problem with: 1) A base A up the slopes of the woodblocks near the Axe/Survey Station in the Logpile area 2) A base B under the book on top of the Picnic Table NOTES: Base A: Larva cannot reach this base. Ants can. Larva raids eventually complete after 10 minutes with the message "payback delivered" or "base defended" Base B: Had a Larva raid last night. Music played for what seemed 15+ minutes, thinking it was a glitch. Eventually I had a message, "remaining payback lost interest" - bloody brilliant Obsidian!!! Love it!! With Base B it would seem that there is error code to prevent raids from going on indefinitely What happens when you exit and reload the game? Have you resolved your issue?
  4. Is it the Wolf Spider on the outside or under the Oak Tree? Or some other place? I have a similar thing with The Infected Wolf under the Oak Tree. I currently use structures to modify its pathing (block all but ONE entrance to the Oak Tree); its impossible to trap bugs currently (as of this post) because the game just moves the pathing but you CAN kinda modify it slightly.... ....also as long as I dont aggro it, it wont jump up at me but AGGRO it and you have quite the scene
  5. I have a similar thing with my base on top of the Bird Table on bottom right of map. Three spawn regularly. Woah makes it more the challenge I'm split with whether I would want them gone or not as: 1) They always provide heart pumping action (lol) but 2) Realistically in real life your interaction and cleaning up of the area would wipe them out. If I were Obsidian I would find it a tough call to decide the best approach! So.....concise ideas.... 1) You could tweak existing written code. That is, make traps in the game more effective/durable as they have sadly been made redundant in recent balancing OR 2) Move the bugs spawn X amount decided by proximity of player structures. This would require new code though so......plus I could imagine workbenches all over the map which wouldn't be a cool thing! Myself, I like the traps idea because you could always loot the bodies and this could also trigger raids which already exist....mwuhahaha
  6. Hi there As per the title there are a couple of menu selections toggles that are not remembered after reloading a save: 1) Arrow Selection - does NOT remember the last arrow selection after reloading a save. Arrow selected always defaults to the 12 oclock position after reloading game. Really annoying after you've e.g. selected Spicy Arrows and Fresh Arrows are reloaded against Wolf Spiders... 2) Trail Marker Toggle - is NOT remembered after reloading a save. Meaning if you generally have markers off you ALWAYS have to turn them off after a game reload. Strangely enough the 1st Person/3rd Person perspective toggle (next door on the wheel) IS remembered.... Many thanks for the wonderful game! Darren
  7. Yep, there are mechanics to get up high quickly and we can get down even quicker as long as you aren't trying to relocate something e.g. running err sorry crawling with a stem pallet, lol. Having a slide or alternative as you suggested whilst relocating grass/stem pallets would be a big help to base building
  8. As per the title, the blue flowers (hosta) that have petals you can shoot/melee off are not respawning petals. This is on Windows Store PC version and on Woah mode. Not sure if this is intended or not.
