I finally obtained the ultimate achievement! Black Sanctuary Chanter. Loved this build! You can see all the stats and gear i used in the videos. Here are a few of the fights recorded for posterity. Running the ultimate challenge was my favorite video gaming experience ever. I know im (very) late to the game, and not much activity with pillars 1 lately, but its still a valid Ultimate Run! Love this game! Heres a few of the important fights: I died on Llengrath the first time around, and my file was deleted. I wanted to quit, but for some reason i wanted to get this achievement, so I started all over, then next time i faced Llengrath i screwed up again and forgot to eat any food before the battle, and the game somehow autosaved with the bog cult apprentice running at me initiating combat. So no going back! Ended up winning the fight using alot of kiting on the first try. A miracle! after llengrath everything else was easy. Didnt record llengrath due to massive frustration with the no food autosave, after building a whole new character just to get to llengrath and screw up again. I went into the thoas fight injured and with no food and mopped the floor with him. Used the redeemer sword that 25% chance to kill vessels, then i dropped the instruments of death and hit withdraw and that was it. The other important fights are above. Cheers! side note: I really wish i could play deadfire. but its too frustrating with massive lag, im running mac os 12.6 if anyone knows a way to make deadfire run better on mac please share! i have done some research and i still cant make the cuba or nvidea control panel work, admittedly my knowledge of computers is limited and issuing console commands and complicated workarounds are difficult for me. but i will be looking out for Avowed.

And if it hasn't screwed anything up this is a bug. Because I now have a copy basically of my iron mode file.... I didn't do anything lol just saved the game quit booted back up and had this

And the amount of time between the saves is.... more than 12 hours. How does that make any sense lol!? That older save didn't even exist earlier today. I did update steam cause it wanted me too. It also says steam cloud error. Which honestly it says to me all the time and I just play anyway and it takes me right to where I was and then later the sync error goes away. Please tell me this won't screw anything up !

Currently playing potd iron mode and expert. Needed to go get some food so I saved my game and shut down my computer. Came back and loaded up the game and now I have this.... 2 trial of Iron save files how is that possible and what should I do? I hope I haven't disabled any achievements as that's why I am playing trial of iron. Anyone seen this?

To get the ultimate challenge you must complete all bounties. One thing about this is really sketching me out though: One of the first batch of bounties requires you to travel to elmshore which you cannot reach till after act 2. But then the next batch of bounties and even the next has bounties in defiance bay... But I thought after act 2 you can no longer enter defiance bay... So how the he'll are you supposed to do these bounties?! I had an issue with it on a playthrough long ago. Shrugged it off cause I wasn't pursuing any achievements. I must be missing something....

With dragon thrashed aoe helped alot. Going to pursue the dragon thrashed including cc till the end. I'm only questioning how to beat the top level dragons bounties Nd bosses Do u need to hit mx lvl first and equipment upgrades then go for them? Thanks for anything!

Level scaling not required based on my research to achieve triple crown or ultimate. Realize thus has been answered before. But search forums and even the internet in general can be tough on this game. Which I kinda like

I'm pursuing the ultimate challenge with a chanter I just reached level 9 and entered the white march. Before I invest all my mats on enchantments for armor I want to make the right choice. I'm wearing bildath Golian (sorry for spelling) but I am considering trying a higher damage reduction like white crest armor of even ryonas breastplate. As a chanter the chants work while prone but not stunned or paralyzed if I'm correct. Lack of need for any recovery also makes high Dr armor tempting. Any advice on which armor choice to take? Couldn't hurt to have a few I'm talking about the main armor to use. Or should u invest in two and switch them out. For me even when switching to a basic higher dr armor I still noticed the difference over bialdath Golan armor.... although I was fighting the ogres which knock down but don't stun. Taking this challenge very seriously so any help is appreciated so much

Hey I'm on potd iron man solo run and I cannot complete the supply and demand quest. I witnessed the brawl... got confronted in the streets but was not prepared. Summoned figurine and left till combat ended. Later picked the lock to the abandoned house. But she gave no dialog options at all. Just hello and goodbye. So I killed the whole gang. Then I saw the thug gang on the street in two places and killed them all... looted the key. Now when I talk to owner at the salty mast the only dialog concerning the quest is .... not yet... even though I killed all the thugs and the leader. Frustrating. Any fix? How important is this quest lol. Thank you

Update: after bashing my head against a wall going for the cipher I gave up could not do cad nua. Some poorly placed starting stats in stealth made it impossible to sneak as well. So I gave up and started a solo triple crown run with chanter again and it's going great. I'm in act 2 now and used the sneak tactic at cad nua. I want to get a triple crown solo or maybe ultimate achievement. One more stupid question: If I never take level scaling can I still get a triple crown or ultimate or is it required you scale at all times. If you don't have to take it I definitely wont.. I would like to enjoy a few fights as an overpowered character with all this energy put into making him strong lol. Thanks again and will keep updating

Thanks for sharing your insight. I didn't save after picking her up and then I quit right away so it should be good. I'm going to start a new game and just go for triple crown solo with a cipher. Pretty sure I've gotten through the hard part with my chanter so it seems possible. If we're being honest I did abuse some summon exploits early on. Chanter just sucks after lvl 5 until dragon thrashed Tbh I'm returning to pillars of eternity after playing deadfire. I'm on a Mac and the combat in deadfire is just too laggy to make the game enjoyable even though I absolutely love the game. All graphics turned to low I still can't play the game.

Im not on iron mode so it wouldnt be a triple crown achievement anyways, just more so wondering if there is an achievement for solo potd and if i have screwed it up.

Hello! been enjoying the pillars of eternity games for awhile now. I am attempting my first solo potd run with a chanter, and in an attempt to get palegrenas quest for the sanguine plate, i accidentally accepted her into my party. I quit right away without saving, and loaded a file that had not had her hired in my party... did i screw anything up as far as constituting a solo run or does it not matter? Just wondering about this, thanks in advance
