Also no matter what save I load it always puts me in the same spot but just at a different time of day

Last night I was in the woodpile and saved in the ice caps container and when I went on this morning it set me back all the way to acorn armor and pebblet tools but nothing else reset. My base is at the same and all my loot is the same but I lost all the termite loot I had. Is there anyway I could get it back?
