Can Xbox players play with Steam players?

nilla_nilla posted a topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)

I was going to play this game with my sister through Xbox splitscreen, but its only online co-op so I was wondering if I could play with her on my PC even if she's on Xbox. The game desc said cross-platform but I though that might mean only different Xbox models.
