    sounds to me like problem isn't with the movie but with playing the game, possibly graphics card/drivers

    sounds to me like the movie is fine but game crashes right afterwards when it first shows the character, but instead just is black. if so, same thing with me and my radeon 7500 card, though occasionally it shows a background of some sort.
