    Mine was fixed by changing the main windows sound Playback options for my headphones. I have an audigy and changed the 5.1 settings there, but no doubt windows settings will do the same

    Possible solution, long shot I had win 10 do an update and change my sound output to 5.1 , changing it back to stereo got rid of the muffled voices
