What was the issue with her design?

I quicksave a lot. Like, take a step, quicksave, take another step, quicksave. I also like to read the dialogue in the chatbox. Quicksaving switches from the dialogue tab to the combat tab, something I'm not interested in. Is there any way to stop quicksaving from switching to the combat tab? I didn't see any option for anything like that in the menu. This is a minor complaint but it bugs me sometimes, I'd like to be able to spam quicksave and read previous conversations without those two conflicting.

Didn't notice this bug at first, just thought, "Well if I was that ugly, I'd stand there screaming like a banshee too". Sometimes they fix themselves and start attacking but usually not until combat's gone on for a while.
