Hi,
just wanted to drop my two cents
Sorry if this has been suggested before but i didn't have the nerve or time to read all nine million pages already written on this.
I'd like to have more differences in what feats and powers your char/class can select. For instance in Kotor 1 and 2 a straight fighter could select from *all* powers. In Kotor 2 every class got 1 power every level (counselors 2 every x levels). Now, in terms of role-playing I don't think that's a good idea. I would like to see that a fighter has only access to, let's say, speed, force barrier/energy resistance, force jump (selectable in the attack menu, as mentioned above), maybe stun/equivalent. There would be not much use for those powers that need high CHA/WIS, since those will be rather neglected attributes.
Same goes for feats. A counselor with Master Flurry?? I think you get the idea...
I have to admit that this would cut down the freedom to create your char, if you'd like to build a dual-wielding counselor or a casting fighter, you should be able to, but honestly those are just fun builds if you have beaten the game a few times.
Oh, I would really like to see the feat "Monkey Grip" from NWN2 (first time I saw it) to get into the game. Dual-wield two heavy rifles... hurray!!!!
And I think they should cut down on items you find. By the end of Kotor 2 I usually have tons of stuff in my inventory. Not that I need it, since I have enough money and components. And you find so many really good items e.g. Dominator Gloves I found 3 oder 4 of them last time I played.
Well the rest has been said before (and probably better), so I'll leave it at that...
cheers
