So to respond to others who suggested some things, Yes my DVD works fine otherwise, the game disk was in working order as I did exchange it once and got the same result.. Apparantly Atari uses some SONY copy protection which is the root problem.. Why in the name of all that is logical they would do something that stupid is well beyond my ability to comprehend. SONY hasn't done right by their game consumers in years.. Anyway this wack copy protection is the root cause of my issues.. Atari or Obsidian or BioWare, whom ever has the balls to take responsability for this situation, should set up free download/installs for retail customers with valid KEY's. So I was told at BioWare and Atari to come here and see in any diffrent support occured... The Disk will not detect in my DVD/CD RW drive, all specs and requirements for game play are up to date and met. When put into the drive it just spins for awhile and then nothing, when manualy selected the drive says there is no disk in there. I need support or a method by which I can download the game whith a valid retail KEY code.
