Eh, I've downloaded bigger. It didn't phase me. If I could just see them displayed in a decent resolution, it would be worthwhile. The FMVs are actually rather impressive.

So anyway, the movies which are included with the huge media patch are encoded at 1600x680, right? Well, no matter what I do, the game will always PLAY them at just 640x480, which was fine for the original versions of the videos, which ran at 640x272. I've tried editing the ini file's resolutions, in both DISPLAY and GRAPHICS subcatagories, to set it to my LCD's native 1280x1024, but that didn't work. In game graphics display at that setting fine, but when an FMV kicks in, it drops to 640x480. Also, I hate the 2 second wait time when my monitor has to constantly change resolutions when it shouldn't have to. What do you have to do to keep the resolution from changing between FMV sequences?

Now that was an awesome post. Thanks a bunch. You covered everything. And yeah, the media patches are fantastic, and I was one of the many on the forums, raising hell about the poor music quality.

Woooow. You have the wrong game, lol. I can't believe you typed up all that garbage. Wesp's Bloodline patch is entirely bug fixes. No mods. And all the bug fixes in it were made by him or friends, and were never released anywhere else. So you either stick with the unplayable retail product, or you use his patch.

Which will be years from now, right?

And why would you? I was asking about the unofficial patches.

Hmm, thats a lot of patches. Is there no compilation of them in a single installer, which has been tested to ensure the best compatibility between them all? I was kinda hoping for an unofficial patch for the game, similar to how a guy by the name of Wesp5 has been patching Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines over here: http://www.forumplanet.com/planetvampire/t...643&tid=1958137 I guess what I mean is, are you totally sure that if I install all those patches, that nothing bad will happen? No reported side effects?

Do I install just the 1.0b patch, located here, or do I also install the 1.0a patch, located here, before that? However I don't see a USA version of the 1.0a patch, so I assume us USA players only need to use the 1.0b patch, correct? Also, are there any third party compilation patches which fix even more bugs?
