How do You fix it?

but it was still yellow, and runs all the way through char generation and the only graphics on the screen when it crashes is the loading screen, so I don't think it has anything to do with graphics card

I get through making the char then when I am click play it loads a little of the way and crashes and won't go any further tried several times OS:windows XP media center cpu:2x amd athlon 64 x2 dual core processor ram: 1984 video :nvidia 6150 (with the latest drivers-) was yellow before I updated to latest drivers, and now with the newest drivers from nvidia states failed?!?! audio: wintv pvr pcII open gl and directx passed

instead of giving the directx stats, from the first menu, select configure, then choose scan hardware then save log and copy onto here.

I did see something about disabling one of the cores but I do not know how to do that. and I thought downloading that update would fix the problem where I would not need to disable the core. I have an AMD Sempron, not a dual core. though I plan on getting one soon. I think the problem is that I have a radeon xpress 200 video card and on the back of the box it says the lowest xpress supported is the 300. just realized that. but all the scans says I have met the minimum requirements. but not the recommended ones. even pass the minimum for video card. so I am not sure.

yeah, I have been doing that all through the prologue and throughout paragus. only way I was able to get through several parts. now I am on the harbinger trying to get the drift charts and to get through the fuel line and I can't move like at all. I can't find a place to look at that will allow me to get through there.

for the characters not following you. press the v button which is for solo mode. see if solo mode is on or off if it is on then trn it off and they should follow you. if it is on try turning it on then back off and see if that fixes it

I am having trouble with the "idiot dance" thing as well. I already added the disable vertex thing into my .ini file where it says to, but it is still not working, though it is working slightly better. my system meets the minimum requirements of the game. but is slightly short on a couple of the suggested ones. but I shouldn't have to keep saving, quitting and restarting the game every 30-60 seconds.
