I can't complete speaking to the leaders of laving lands in the siege of Paradise. They do not ask about my adventures and I cannot get the gate open to go to Paradise. I have reloaded previous saves and started the game over from the beginning. No luck

When I try to go upstairs in Brookhollow I get an errot message and it takes me back to the main menu.

I cant change my party members in the stronghold. I dismiss one character and add another to the party, but the change doesnt happen.
