immure

One of my characters just got level 15 (skill), but died before the end of the scenario. She still leveled up, but was not able to select the new skill in the post-scenario screen - although another character who also got level 15, but did not die correctly received the skill. Is this a known bug? Is the skill recoverable without making a new character?
