  1. well this is not really a bug i suppose, but i need tech support so i guess this is the place to go

basicaly i need to wipe my phone memory but i'm not sure if that's 100% safe in regarding to progress, how can i be 100% sure that my progress will be saved? do i need to keep a user code? is it stored in my google account? if it is how can i be sure it's there and that i won't lose any progress upon deleting the app?

  2. well first of all you should buy adventure 1 since it only cost 800 gold and it adds lot of cards, after that i suggest buying any of the character that has the arcane skill as it helps a lot with closing location that would be impossible for the rogue/cleric combination to close, between the wizard, the sorceress and the bard i went for the sorceress but you might want to pick someone else

after that i bought adventure 2 and then the C deck, after the C deck, adventure 3, after adventure 3 the remaining 4 characters, and after that save 4000 for when they release adventure 4 and spend the rest on chests

  3.

Well i'm not 100% sure this is a bug but i guess pointing this out can't hurt

I used medusa Mask on a summomed henchman and wouldn't you know, the summomed henchman remained in the deck instead of disappearing like it should have

Is it supposed to work like that or not? The medusa Mask clearly say to leave the card you use it on top of the deck but summoned unit should vanish no matter what so i'm not sure what's the correct behavior here

The Medusa Mask says "When you encounter a monster FROM A LOCATION DECK..." So, the bug is that you've been able to play it at all on a summoned monster.

uh i see, i see, i encountered the donkey rat monster, rolled a 1 and that summoned a ogrekin henchman if that can help with understanding the bug

  5. hello, i think i found another bug

i was playing quest mode and i closed all locations except the last one with xanesha in it, then meridiel finds xanesha, i'm ready to get into combat but i accidentaly used a wisdom blessing which made the game switch from a combat check to a wisdom check, i throw the dice without realizing the change and meridiel throws a 9, 1 below the required 10 to defeat xanesha, so i bury the luckstone in order to succeed the check and...

the game ends with my victory

for some reason by using the luckstone the game never made me roll for the second combat check

EDIT: i played some more quest mode game with xanesha as the villain and i noticed that for some reason the game skip the second combat check if you fail the first one (which in itself should be another different bug since losing the first check should just stop you from using weapon and magic on the second check) and i think what happened is that the game thought i failed the first check so it skipped the second check, then when i played the luckstone now the first check was considered passed so the game just awarded me the victory

  6. since my character finaly got to level 20, the randomness of quest mode has actualy stopped being quite random, in fact all of my game have been pretty much the same, first of all i always encounter these locations

    Academy

    Apothecary

    Farm House

    General Store

    Prison

    The Old Light

    Treacherous Cave

    Village House

    Waterfront

    Wooden Bridge

    Junk Beach

    The Rusty Dragon

i used to encounter these location but now no matter how many quest mode game i play, they just don't appear anymore

    Deeper Dungeons

    Desecrated Vault

    Mountain Peak

    Shrine to Lamashtu

    Thassilonian Dungeon

    Throne Room

    Warrens

    Woods

    Shadow Clock

most of the time i get the scenario power that force you to receive damage when you defeat an undead monster and the villain is always either that necromancer that resurrect on a 1 or 2 or that elf that gets stronger if there aren't at least 2 character in his location, there are a lot of scenario power i used to see that just don't seems to appear anymore

is this a bug or what?

also in one particulary rare game where the game did decide to pick some new stuff i encountered the boa villain from the "here comes the flood" scenario and since they don't have the "attempt to close the location when defeating this villain" text it actualy made completing that game much harder by forcing me to go through all the location cards, is that supposed to happen?

  7. I am a bit confused about the concept of "new" cards. When I look at the current gallery showing treasure cards, the "new" cards are listed (although with the original edges). What portion of the gallery treasure cards are a part of the game and which are "still to come out?"

I had (wrongly) assumed that the current gallery of treasure items showed the possibilities for the current treasure chests.

there is a bug that make it so that some cards showed on the gallery can't actualy be obtained

look in the bug section, one of the dev said he was very sorry for this bug because it tricked some people into hunting for something that didn't really exist and listed what cards are shown incorrectly

or alternatively wait for the patch to be released since i assume that it's one of the bug it's going to fix

  8. Not completely true. Quest mode does NOT correspond to the Adventure Deck #.

Cards in Quest mode are organized based on their abilities. So the crappier a card is, the earlier you'll see it.

i'm pretty sure the difficulty of quest mode depends on the level of your character so if your character are level 10, you use adventure deck 1, and if your character are level 20, you use adventure deck 2 and so on

  9. hello, just accidentaly discovered a pretty hilarious bug regarding the general store location, i was playing the game, going as fast as possible, so after closing the general store location, i started mashing the arrow in order to continue the game forgetting that you have to roll a d6 and somehow i was able to skip the d6 roll for items and instead 20 items got added to the shop

  10. Well this time i got pretty screwed up

I was playing with the following scenario power, the one that make you discard a card from the blessing deck when you encounter a henchman and roll 1,2 or 3, and the one that Force you to bury a card when you lose an encounter

I then encountered the goblin raid trap and Kyra decided to roll a bunch of 1, i buried a card from her graveyard and then... nothing, the game got stuck

I tried quitting and reentering the game and now i'm in a complete deadlock situation, i can't even access the option menu in order to forfeit

    http://m.imgur.com/pSWh6Xk

    Please help!

EDIT: after pushing buttons at random, i was able to enter one of the invisible location shown in the pic and somehow that convinced the game to give me access back to the option menu which let me forfeit but still that was a pretty nasty bug

  11. ah ****, i'm an idiot, i completly forgot the power of this scenario is that if no one is at shadow clock then the blessing deck goes 4 times as fast instead of normal, and that the golem was coincidentaly at the shadow clock so that by evading it, there were no more character at the shadow clock

i've repeated this stage so many times and i close the shadow clock so fast i even forgot the scenario power was a thing

  12. so i was playing the last scenario of Campaign 2 when seoni encountered the scarecrow golem, now as you can't play attack spell on the golem i was screwed since seoni has only a d4 has her strenght dice

so i did the most sensible thing, discarded 2 cards and evaded to the temple... and then the game decided to take 3 (4?) cards out of the blessing deck, i said to myself "fine i still have enough"

and then the game decided to keep taking out 3 cards out of the blessing deck every turn making the scenario pretty much impossible to clear

i'm not sure what might have triggered the bug since i've used the temple in other instances perfectly fine

  13. http://anydice.com/

this site let you calculate the odds of getting any possible result when rolling any amount of dice you want and i found it's a great learning tool to learn how many dices are enough to beat the odds

for example if you need to pass a 6 check with just a single 1d6 your odd of doing so are just 16% but just adding another dice with a blessing bump your chance to 72% but maybe that check is really really important (like you found the henchman as the first card) so how much would a 3rd 6 faced dice add? well adding a 3rd dice bump your chance to an amazing 95% making the check almost impossible to fail

  14. well i'm not sure if this is a bug or some rule i don't get so i thought of starting a thread here instead of the technical forum

i like to use eloquence on seoni in order to buff her magic damage +3, however everytime i enter combat, i get completly locked from using the card, at first i thought it was like a rule that you couldn't use these sort of card upon encountering a card and that you were supposed to guess if you were encountering a check requiring charisma or not

however i noticed that the game will let me use eloquence everytime a charisma check comes up, and if i get into a combat i can cast strenght no problem

so is this an oversight from the developer who didn't think that eloquence could help you with casting spells in combat or is there some rules that says that you can cast stuff like strenght in combat but not stuff like eloquence

EDIT: oh i think i get it, by the time i'm into a check that's using "charisma" i've already casted a spell in combat and since you can't cast 2 spells in combat, there is no way of casting charisma in order to boost a spell unless you cast charisma before entering combat
