  1. I have a game with Meriaiel, Kyra, and Seoni. They progressed through all B and 1 on normal difficilty. As soon as I started the next harder one, I lost all my access. I had to go through B again, and got as far as finishing Local Heroes in 1. It did show 2 stars by the name each time I completed one, but I could never revisit the other 1 scenarios, even on normal. Lastly, I had enough coins to purchase book 2. Progress was reset again, I have to start at Brigandoom now.
  2. Is there going to be more explanation on what happens if a character "dies" (without perma-death on) while on a mission? For example, I had Merisiel, Seoni, and Kyra doing the B-campaign. On part 2, poison pill, Seoni died during it and didn't get the end reward. However, the game didn't really say anything else about this so I continued on to part 3. After that, both Kyra and Merisiel got the "adventure" reward of a Skill Feat, but not Seoni. Now, as a long-time player, I can get why this is the case. Seoni didn't complete part 2, so she doesn't get the reward yet. I'm about to try part 2 and hope she will get the Skill Feat then immediately. That said, there's no indication in game on why this is the case. Another player might be confused, and *might* guess he has to go back and re-do the one she died in, but the game really doesn't point this out at all.
  3. They were invisible the entire time. Never visible once. As soon as the tutorial ended and I started Brigandoom, I could see dice again.
  4. In the initial mission with Ameiko and Olek, the dice weren't visible for me (on Android). Uninstalled Beta 2 before getting the new build, and confirmed the dice *are* visible in an actual mission past this. Could still see bonuses (if any) and still roll the dice after figuring out where they were, sounds still played... just no actual dice visible.
  5. If we are getting rid of text, can we also get rid of that annoying "this check is increased by the adventure deck number..." text on half the cards too? I thought that should have gone the way of a simple icon ages ago. Ultimately only the end total matters, does the user even need to know that they'll be slightly harder in Book 2?
  6. I love not having to shuffle the location decks together. I like being able to have all of my decks kept track of without having to rebuild the base box every time. I love just how QUICKLY I can play a game. I've been a long-time fan of the card game, having played in all three campaigns so far and I love what Obsidian is doing.
  7. Alternatively, instead of having to do the method right now to "trade" (bring down a higher level character into a lower level party, play a scenario together), wouldn't their be an easier way with a Vault like setup? Have some screen where you can access all cards among all your characters and just allow players to trade cards they've acquired? Or would that make things *too* easy? (or again, is it even a problem?) Maybe make this a feature after you've completed the full game once, like a New Game +?
  8. As a means to counter "cheating", have the Devs considered a persistent "unlock" mechanic? For example, all the cards have a "level" already. B=0, then 1-6. Why not just restrict cards until that character has completed at least one scenario at that level? IE: Seoni can't accept a 1-level card until she's completed the first scenario in Book 1? Granted, I also am not too concerned if players "power-level" characters with a high-level one, so I can really go either way on this.
  9. Thanks for the response! That makes things sound a lot better then, I was worried that I would have to reset things any time the "party" changed. So once this bug is fixed then, presumably, I should (assuming I only have one instance of each character) never see their decks change/reset, along with feats, regardless of whether I add new party members, replay old scenarios, or try harder difficulties?
  10. Alright, so I've been playing the Beta now for a while and I still am not entirely sure on how character development is supposed to work. I re-installed after the recent patch and built up my Kyra/Merisiel again. I played through all of B and 1 (which I had purchased with gold pre-patch) to get their feats and some new cards in their decks. After I had done this plus some higher difficulties, I had enough gold to unlock Seoni. At this point, I brought her into the party and sent them all back to the first B scenario so she could get the same selection of feats/chance of cards that the others did. However, when I did this, both Kyra and Merisiel were completely reset. Their decks had none of the cards I had earned, none of the feats were present, and I'm not sure what the expected user experience should be. On reading the initial post, I'm a bit confused. What is the point of "benching" characters? How are we supposed to switch between the various "instances" of characters? Also, when I went to a higher difficulty on some missions, it seemed like my cards were also being reset. So, before I get into any opinion-based stuff, I just wanted as clear an answer as possible: what is the expected user experience when it comes to character management, progression, and more? The initial post helps a little, but I'm still a bit confused (especially considering my issues above).
