  1. Oops's post in [3.01] Bug: Area map visible before exploration was marked as the answer   
    As of the latest Steam release, this issue no longer occurs.  Tried a new game as well as an old save.  Yay!
     
    No idea what was done to cause the problem or resolve it, but hey... I'm just glad I can enjoy PoE on the newest display drivers for my system.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
