  1. I just discovered this forum. And by extension, this topic. I would love to see another Fallout game made by Obsidian. But here's why: I've played both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, in that order. The biggest differences I noticed in New Vegas compared to Fallout 3 were my choices. My decisions. My ability to roleplay a character, and have quests thought in advance based on my skills. The fact that I could do multiple quests for different factions at the same time. So many, that still to this day I'm amazed when some NPC recognizes those deeds, making me think "why did they even bother giving him this dialogue?", because that's when a real reactive world starts. I haven't finished New Vegas yet. I'm in my fourth playthrough. I always forget to finish the game before starting a new one. I'm awaiting for the moment I will have to choose again between three factions, where none of them are really evil and none of them are really good. The kind of morality to be expected from a post-apocalyptic world, where people will murder each other for scraps of food. A game where towns and NPCs make sense. A game with good writing, where you convince the most fearsome enemy in the entire game through pure logic, and a nice throwback to real life events, instead of forcing him to selfdestruct because "he's evil and needs to stop". Only Obsidian can give me this. No review praising Fallout 3 over Obsidian's game will ever change the fact that New Vegas was superior in almost every way, and to this day, it is still a milestone in RPG gaming. One can only imagine how would have New Vegas turned out with just a few more months of developing. A fully fleshed out Caesar's Legion. A sprawling city of New Vegas. I'm completely against brand loyalty. But after seeing both FNV and PoE's making-of documentaries, and having playing New Vegas three times, I can't help but feel Obsidian is the company I would love to be a part of, and the company that delivers when given the right resources and the amount of time it needs. I don't know if you guys will ever get to make a new Fallout game. Or if you are even reading this. But if you are: thank you. I'm going to take this basket of cakes to my grandmother's house.
