Hello, I have played pillars 2 off and on since release never getting past mid game. I consider my self an inexperienced player and want to try turn-based this attempt. Since I do not like to multiclass I was thinking about making the following for my next play through: tank(shieldbearer), beserker, priest, archer, wizard(invoker), What do you guys think about this party composition? A follow-up question is how would you min/max your tank and invoker wizard for optimal success? I chose the shield bearer only because I read it was a sturdy tank and the invoker is my favoruite class.

Understood. How would I go about also editting a few spells that I commonly use. I rather dislike the short range of spells such as fireball. -

Thanks for your time and effort. I will try the mod later today. I have not played very much of POE2 so I need to figure out what PL5 means. -

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me increase the range of spells. -
Hi all, I am looking for some suggestions. I finally made it to level five with my party consisting of a fighter, 2 wizards, a priest, and a barbarian. I am not enjoying my class choices of priest and barbarian. I am uncertain if it is my play-style or build. I used some of the guides in this forum to help me build them. There have been many times where I wish I had a ranger to do consistent melee damage but need 2 front-liners to make my group work. I am considering restarting and switching out my under performing classes. What do the veteran player think about my party composition? I don't like the cipher so that is not an option for me.

Thanks for the responses, I decided to re-roll my party some of the builds are not fun so far in turn based. The two classes that I enjoyed and performed well are Ranger, and Wizard. I did not enjoy the Shieldbearer-Troubadour most likely playing it wrong. Can anyone suggest another tank that would work well in turn based?

Thanks for reading, I started a party and was annihilated my first big fight. I am trying to re-roll all my characters since it is not an Ironman run. My intention is to play a Wizard Envoker but most of the guides seem to suggest no specialization. The run is turn based https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1444955744 My main concern are which spells and abilities should I train? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good day, I just started playing this game and currently trying to build my 1st caster heavy party. Please provide any tips suggestions or guides that might help me with this beautiful game. I am not sure if it will matter but I will be playing turn based. 1) Main character: Wizard 2) Tank: Shieldbearer-Troubadour (found this on the forum) 3) Ranged dps: ??? Thinking bow ranger I have read mixed reviews on this class 4) Healer: Any guidance would help I was planning to fill out the remaining slot or slots with NPC that I hopefully will find along the way.
