Hi all,
I guess a have the same/similar problem: PoE has been working fine, until today, 04/16. I can start PoE and reach the main menu, but as soon as I try to continue or start a new game, PoE exits immediately. Console output after such a sudden exit:
ExecSteamURL: "steam://rungameid/291650" Game update: AppID 291650 "Pillars of Eternity", ProcID 4614, IP 0.0.0.0:0 ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/arthur/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored. I first encountered this issue after having downloaded patch 1.4; but I noticed those gameoverlayrenderer.so-files mentioned in the console output do have a pretty recent timestamp (04/08 & 04/14), so maybe the problem is related to them being updated by Steam. Couldn't tell if this error is just a warning, though, since I usually disable console output on starting Steam. I'm running 64-Bit-Gentoo and wouldn't know of any relevant recent updates on my system (certainly not since yesterday):

Thanks & kind regards!
