Another option for the Phantoms in the Stronhold Throne room of Caed Nua: Kite them as a Chanter. I did this earlier today by running around the room with the frost feet chant and high mechanics. I was level 5 and only hit once by a porting shadow. Just pause a lot and plan your steps carefully. When you round the rubble pile you'll drop a trap they will certainly trip over. It takes awhile but you will eventually get them all, no scrolls needed. Moonlike Chanter with dump con/dex, max might/int/per, near max res. If I could redo stats I'd pump Might to the hilt and probably trade a little int for topping off res. I have a long way to go, but it is working well so far. The min con is survivable as a Moonlike.

Ceranai, If I missed it, just tell me the page #, but could you post your: 1. Starting stats 2. Chant choices 3. Invocation choice 4. Which of the above you'd change if you could Also, do you make much use of any particular skill(s)? I've been running solo Chanter PotD as well and haven't had any major troubles, but I can feel the difficultly outpacing my summons/kiting to some degree. Mostly trying to decide whether to go tanky, melee damage (with extended reach 2h most likely), or ranged.
