My rogue recently got an arbalest that allowed him to sneak attack + backstab and one shot weak mobs like young wolves. My bestiary XP on wolves was only 50% done and I noticed that when I one shot it I gained no XP or bestiary progress. If I instead engage the wolf in combat and then kill it I gain bestiary XP and progress as normal. This must be a bug.
