  1. Hello Obsidian, All of the Obsidian games that I have purchaed (PoE, Tyranny) are unplayable on my rig. I have tried PoE on Windows and Linux. I have also tried Tyranny on Windows. In the Windows case, both games crash within 90 seconds of me playing it. The system actually crashes to the BIOS and reboots. In Linux, PoE simply hangs on character creation. I'm running Windows 10 with an Nvidia GEForce 1070 graphics card and the latest NVidia driver (As of 9 May 2018) On Linux, I'm running Ubuntu 18.04. At this point, I'm unable and unwilling to play any more Obsidian games until I know that they can at least run functionally on my system.
  2. Hello, I am attempting to play PoE from my MSI laptop. The specs on the laptop are: Windows 10 32 GB RAM NVidia GTX 1070 x 2 (i.e. I have two of the GPU's installed). Processor: I7-6820 (8 CPU's) I have upgraded to the latest NVidia driver as of 04/25/2018. The symptoms are that I play it for about a minute (This is in the opening scenes around the campfire). The sound then glitches and stutters and the screen freezes. After a few seconds, the system completely reboots. I have tried lowering the graphics quality in the game but with no success. I have attached the output log as well. Note that I ran this on another system using Windows 8.1 with a 1070 NVidia GTX system and I never had any issues. output_log.txt
  3. I have the following specs: 16 GB RAM Intel Core i7-3820 CPU nVidia GeForce GTX670 64-bit system running Ubuntu 14.10 Display: Samsung 32" monitor at 1920x1080 What's the best way to send you the Player.log? I don't see an "attachment" icon to attach the file. Should I do a copy/paste to a new forum post?
  4. Guys, Even after downloading patch 1.03, PoE for Linux is still unplayable. 1. The Play button on the steam UI doesn't work. I still have to go into a console, cd to the .steam/steam/steamapps/common/PoE directory and run the binary manually. 2. The PoE HUD is unusable. The character pictures are pixelated and blurry, some of the transition screens don't show up. Is it too much to ask that if I pay 41.99 for my linux PoE that Obsidian actually delivers a game that works? -- Redmage123
  5. Hello all, I bought the Steam version of PoE for Linux. I'm running on an Ubuntu 14.10 64 bit system with an NVidia GEForce GTX 670. In just 20 minutes I've found a number of bugs that make the game almost unplayable... 1. PoE won't start from the Steam "Play" button. I had to start up a terminal session, cd to the PoE install directory and run PoE from the command line. 2. Trying to do an area select paints a "green rectangle" over the area I select. 3. There's some sort of a transition screen, but it's effectively unreadable. I see the first character of a word in a stylized font, but that's it. 4. Right clicking on an item brings up a description screen which is effectively unreadable due to fonts and screen placement. -- redmage123
