  1. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?ac...pe=post&id=1385 I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but... Does anybody think that could have originally been what was going to be used as Atton in the torture/death scene at the end of the game?
  2. Yup...basically the original posts can be found at: http://www.theforce.net/jedicouncil/editorials/030405.asp -Article about it... http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...pic=29764&st=18 -Scripts http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=29764&st=120 -Audio http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=30726 -Further info Basically, the reason I was wondering this was that as I moved through tens of pages and listened to just about every possiblity imaginable as to why it wasn't put in a theme started popping up. About probably 20 pages into one thread people started coming up with the notion that it must have been because it was "un-Star Wars" and would have given the game a "M" rating. I think that this is a laughable idea...especially considering the latest movie which wasn't released at that time back in February/March. I was just curious what anybody else felt about on the subject.
  3. I'm curious what people think now after seeing episode 3. There were a lot of people that said that the alt endings that originally were going to be in KOTOR 2 (especially the Atton torture/death ending) would not have been okayed by LA and would have been un-Star Wars and would have given the game an M rating and blah blah blah. Of course, that topic was closed way before the movie ever came out. Considering how dark the movie was and how truly star wars all that is (especially if you ever decide to stop being lazy and read some of the EU like a true star wars fan) I really wonder what people think now. Personally, I do think Obsidian would have had a happy ending for it if you would have been light side. Still, I think they had every right to have those dark (and most likely darkside) endings in their game rather than the basically no ending that was given. As for the rating thing...BAH! Ratings are all a game...just like movies. Some P13 movies can get away with just about everything and look like they should have been R while others were so light they could have just as well been PG. Ratings are just a media tool used to attract certain age groups and buyers. If nothing else, the cut scenes just wouldn't have shown a lot of the violence or not very graphically realistic. Personally, considering that lightsabers leave no blood slicing off someone's arm would look as harmless as it did in Episode 2. Oh...and don't forget we saw Anakin lop off Dooku's head quite vividly in Episode 3. Basically...the only reasons for the cut where just that: Time and Money. Think about it. If it had been because of graphics someone would have already said that because that would seem like a logical and nobel idea enough to probably quite most of the complainers and end all the problems and agruments in the first place. However, that isn't the reason.
