  1. No lol. I am little confused on the comment, as if I am supposed to get something that I don't lol.
  2. Well thank you LadyCrimson I am happy to be here I am glad you agree! I honestly haven't met a lot of people who know a lot about Obsidian.
  3. Hey guys I am new to the forum! My name is Sterling and I just wanted to say hi and also talk about my experience with Obsidian. I grew up playing role playing games, my first games were on PC, and they were Icewind Dale and Morrowind. I loved not only the character customization but the immersive story. I played those games for years and never really explored my other options until a game called Neverwinter Nights 2 came out. I was again pulled in by the great character customization and good story. But this was the first time I experienced the great character writing of Obsidian and the awesome choices. Even to this day do I marvel of amount of dialogue and choices in the Court Case scene. I ended up going back and playing Neverwinter Nights with just as much enjoyment. The D&D archetype would help me understand the games from mechanical standpoint and the story would draw me in. But it was amazing character writing that made me keep playing the games over and over again(Neeshka was amazingly written). The one day I was at my friends house and I was introduced to Fallout universe. He was playing Fallout New Vegas and he was convinced he could not get past Nipton because he was afraid the Legion would kill him. I attempted this and went through the dialogue options and got him out of there by not just attacking them. Thus began a mad dash to get me that game on PC within the day. I loved the game so much and only after beating the game once had I realized it was another Obsidian game. And it was just as amazing before. The story was great and the characters were amazing. Edward Sallow is one of the best written 'villains'(can we really consider him a true villain?) I have ever seen. It wasn't his epicness or what he did but his vulnerabilities, his ideology, his vision, and his philosophy that made him a truly great character. I ended up playing the Star Wars: KOTR and I liked the game. It was a little dated by the time I played it but it was still pretty good. However, the game I really loved was KOTR 2 I just had an overall better experience. It was more dynamic and the choices were better. And Io and behold it was another game by Obsidian. You guys do such a fantastic job of investing the players in what you are doing. I always feel like the characters are real and the story supports that. You guys always give us good character customization and great opportunities. So today I read(albeit very late) that Pillars of Eternity is coming out. I am super excited and am going to preorder it on Monday(when I get paid). I am nineteen now and am going to college for Computer Science and Philosophy. One day I hope to work for you guys, you are amazing and keep up the good work!
