  1. THE SWORD OF TRUTH series by Terry Goodking is one of the best fantasy series, if not the best, that I have ever read. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy. the first novel in the series is called Wizard's First Rule

  2. The sad thing is that people think that Palpatine can orchestrate an entire duel between a very powerful and dangerous Jedi Master. That is simply wishful thinking. Mace had a dangerous lightsaber form and he was offensively superb. He could have sliced Sidious' head off.

Also, I think that Mace has had more combat experience and training, i dont think that palp was trained as a boy in the dark side, so mace may have had an edge on palp, and like you said, it is pretty difficult to plan an entire duel with a jedi master, especially mace, he was probably the best with a lightsaber, other that obi-wan, and yoda is nasty, but he isn't as good with a lightsaber as mace is because hes more of a force kinda guy.

  3.

Because I suppose Kreia wanted the Exile to surpass her and to prove it to her by killing her in a final confrontation between master and apprentice, as well as for that very showdown to serve as the Exile's final test in itself. Beyond even their confrontation, even simply forcing the Exile to "confront" Malachor V itself seemed to be an important final step in the "training" Kreia had for him. Her lessons and trials certainly weren't limited to helping him to "build up his raw power" or something. A lot of it was more philosophical than just passing on techniques. She sought to pass on her teachings and philosophies altogether, and to help (force) him to confront his past, and to push him through certain preconceptions he may have held about the nature of the Force and whatnot.

Exile (through their bond) -- was to be in the case that the Exile refused to go to Malachor V to meet her. Y'know, like, "Come to meet me on Malachor V. If you don't come to meet me there, I will kill the both of us and all will have been in vain. So, if you don't want to die, you'd better come."

Kreia Also didn't have that whole Force Echo thing going on, and maybe she felt that to confront the true sith this would be necessary. I dunno, this stuff is gettin pretty deep.

  4. Now I have a little bit more to add to the revan age thing. In k1 when you talk to the masters about revan and how he was you gain even more knowledge about his attitude. They mention how the young revan was arrogant and headstrong and always in pursuit of knowledge. He was never a knight always a padawan so master zhar says.

There is only one thing answered about age ingame .The bastila convo when she is questionin you and ask your age.U either answer isnt this in my record(game developers avoid) or im 3,012 years young lol.

wait, how long after kotor 1 Does the First{as in the new ones} Star Wars Movie ocurr?

  5. I think it would be nice to start out with a truly customized ligthsader for a change, that would be kinda nice. I like the whole hooded idea you got there too. Although I dont know how much you CAN customizze the robes. Still good idea.

  6. Not really this is kotor and take revan and bastila for example.Bastila is arrogant and headstrong sorta like pre k revan. Revan also didnt join until the last 5 years of the war plus around 4 more i would say he joined around he was 19.Being a military genious doesnt come with age lots of people in star wars are able to do it includin anakin just watch clone wars.If you are to go with the whole attitude thing revan makes himself look even more like bastilas age.

I disagree about age and power.Anakin is a good example but so is revan.Revan could take any one of the masters on and win.

Once Again, I agree and support waepons master. Go team Go!

  7. Lol never by supportin the non force activist wat will happen to my dear bastila and what about revan nooooo.

I jus wish k2 would of explained the echo thing in the exile better did it heal or not and how would his wound kill the force.

I dont think that the echo was a wound, as all the masters thought, but it was just a change, a new kind of power through the force. His wound would kill the force the same way that the crazy Sith lord who devoured worlds would If he had thrived off of it. but I think that the years of exile may have allowed him to center himself and control the hunger for force users. I dunno The JEdi masters touch on it alittle bit on dantooine, and Kreia talks about it too.

  8. Or maybe the jedi or sith can only see the future in some certain circumstances and cant really anticipate some things changin the outcome.

Yea, there still is free choice, I mean the force can't control everything. It may guide things to get a resoulution one way or the other, but it isn't partial so you can't really use it to see the outcome of major choices.

  9. At one point when I was playing and a LIght Jedi I went to kreia and I was talking to her and after a series of talks about great JEdi of the past or whatever she askes you what your strongest skill is, and there is one option(your strongest skill) and then she asks you what your weakest one is and the same happens, then she tells you to come back to her after you have improved your weakest skill. I tried this but I didnt get to her quick enough because she had left the party before I could actually go back to her with my skills balanced better or whatever. I was just wondering what happens when you do this. And if it is even worth the effort of doing.

  10. Well seems Kreia was more wrong than I had believed. Jango wasn't technically the last Mandalorian after all. He was the last known Mandalorian. In fact 50 or more Mandalorians Mercs(along side Jango) helped in the training of the Clones.

It may be that Kreia couldn't see past the turbulence that happens during the time when the republic crumbles and THE EMPIRE is created. Not evne yoda could see what would come of Luke, It seems the luke or "THe chosen one" finally brought balance back to the force, but there was so much turbulence(like the destruction of a PLANET) going on during the time when luke crushed the Galactic Empire that it made it hard for Jedi or Sith to read the future as they always had.

  11. OK, let me try clarifying again - if you vote, with a conclusion of that he tried to take over the Republic (even if he originally did the whole sacrafcing stuff and got too deep, needing rescueing himself), that is still "Evil" DS.

I guess Evil was a bad word - Sidious is a Sith Lord who, besides from the Jedi, wasn't some brute like Malak.

So fine, ignore the word evil if you must - just DS then.

Well, I don't think anyone can deny that he was "on" the Dark Side of the Force while he was "Darth Revan". Whether it was a sacrifice and he allowed himself to fall or it was plain ol' corruption, he still became "aligned" with the Dark Side of the Force. (Even along the former branch -- the idea that Revan allowed himself to fall knowingly -- if the Dark Side of the Force had not changed him at all, how would it have even been a "sacrifice"? What would he have lost if he was completely in control and had not changed?)

So, I suppose the question here should be, "How far do you think he was into the Dark Side of the Force and what do you believe were the true circumstances of his fall?"

Agreed, but I think he may have started out with good intentions, BUt he definetly fell. Doesnt really matter HOW he got there, Its that he was definetly at that point. Malak was definetly more evil than him though, if not as smart or as powerful.

  12. Im still not convinced that the exile is younger than the exile.Revan is in my opinion younger not by character models but by how can i put the character you get out of the written chronicles.Revan just sounds headstrong and in some cases stubborn as does malak which is usually a case of immaturity leading me to believe they were quite young in the war.

Exile on the other hand just sounds much more how can i say it mature to some degree.I remember this one convo with bao where bao talks about the mass g going on and the exile just with a look on his face that makes him sound responsible.

So I basically believe Revan mid to late twenties and exile late twenties to early thirties.Course thats my opinion and w/o a timeline thats what they shall remain.

I have to Agree with you. I agree with the thing about maturity, I think that It takes a person with alot of wisdom to take a step away from the war and actually turn away from it. Whereas Revan went to the War based on an eagerness and impatience, it seemed that the Exile went to War because of a real, educated decision that was based on serious thought, not just youthful eagerness. The way that both Atris and Disciple look up or Respect The Exile shows that the wisdom was there before the Exile actually WENT into Exile.
