  1. Lol, thanks everyone. Just forgot to check the bodies of the dead mercs in the enclave for the datapad. What a noob.
  2. This is my third time through the game, first as DS. I've never had a problem completing the planet before. This time when I first talked to Zherron, I didn't choose to take on the mission where you are supposed to deliver the "go ahead" mission to the mercenaries. I kinda skipped that part of the dialogue and figured I'd come back to it. Now when I go to him, that conversation option does not come up. Also, the disciple is not in Khoonda like he should be. After the Jedi Enclave he says he'll go there if you have any more question, but there is just a big empty space where he should be. In short, I can't tell the mercs to "go ahead" which is making it so that I can't go into the crystal cave and rescue Vrook. Without that happeining I can't get the point where you try and defend (or destroy) Khoonda when the mercs come to attack. Sucky thing is, I don't have any save games before Dantooine, I'm damn sure not going to do the planet all over again. Any suggestions or should I just quit wasting my time with this game?
  3. This is my third time through the game, but first time as DS. I cant get into see lopak slusk until I prove my worth to Luxa. I took a mission from her to bring so weapons to some dealers in the apartment area. Problem is............whenever I approach the door, the guy on the other side tells me "we told you to come alone, don't toy with us blah blah blah." I've tried solo mode, I've left the other party members in "my room" area. I've tried it with a stealth generator on and everything. I can't get in there. So basically I'm stuck. Anyone else get this or am I just being a DS noob and missing something?
  4. Wow, I didn't think you all were going to hate me. I never said the game was bad, I just was confused about a few things. After all I did put about 70 hours into playing through twice right? Thanks for clearing some of it up for me. I'm not too up on some of the current information like some of you insiders are. My apoligies to wictchzenka. It's a bad habbit but one that is hard to break. It wasn't meant as an insult. It's sorta like how lots of people refer to things that are lame as "gay". They aren't really saying that gay people are lame.......just using the word that seems to have caught on. And come on there DorrieB, I can read. I paid special attention to the dialogue both times, but very specifically on the second time through after I had learned about some of the popular complaints. I wanted to see if I could catch some of the things that others have experienced. Trying to rationalize answers out of the ending of the game by assuming things does not fly with me. Example. You said the the ebon hawk could have been fixed by Bao-Dur and his remote and that would explain how it flies off in the end. I'm not sure if your game is different than mine, but last I saw the remote was pinned down by GO-TO and I never saw what became of that situation. So by the cut scene that I saw, your explanation doesn't float. No offense, but that is the way I saw it go down. Obviously the game is flawed, but it was still fun twice through. I'm not placing blame here either cause I dont' know at what point in the game process the ball got dropped. Just wanted some clarification, of which I have recieved plenty. Thank you all.
  5. I only have a delete option for the reply that I made, not the original post. WTF?
  6. I've read many of the threads of people complaining about the lack of plot, the lame character development, the text and voice errors....blah blah blah. I just wanted to bring up some things that I noticed on my second play through and see if any of you have experienced or thought about these things too. 1. Why the hell did Kreia even bring the exile to Malachor to kill him when one of the last things she says is "I would have killed the galaxy to preserve you." Is it her objective to kill the exile or to keep him alive? MAKE UP YOUR MINDS RETARDS!!! 2. I was browsing through the list of videos that I had unlocked and there were some that I had not seen during game play because of this weird bug I kept getting. The video would be going and I could here it but not see it. It happened like 4 different times, and it was the same videos for both of my playthroughs. I noticed one called "the death of the ebon hawk". I watched it, and it was that scene where the ebon hawk comes disloged from the rocks and falls down and is destroyed. But then I got to thinking..........AT THE END OF THE GAME IT SHOWS THE EBON HAWK FLYING OFF INTO SPACE!!!!!!!! WTF??????? Did you see anyone fixing it up? I didnt. 3. After finally defeating Kreia, you get a dialogue option to choose what to do. You can choose to stay and wait for other Jedi, or leave but not bring your friends with you. In both of my playthroughs I decided to purposely skip this choice until after I made Kreia tell me about all the things that were going to happen to the other characters. After she gets done spilling all the beans (lame beans at that) the choice of what to do option never comes back up. You can only tell her to "rest" because her work was finished. 4. IF THE EXILE JUST KILLED KREIA AND THEY WERE FORCE BONDED TOGETHER, WHY DID THE EXILE NOT DIE TOO?????? The whole damn game was talking about how when she gets hurt, he gets hurt blah blah blah. So now that were at the end of the game none of that matters anymore? 5. What a cop out at the end, having Kreia just stand there and tell the exile what would happen. Why not show things happening as she narrates or something? At least let me get to see my badass Handmaiden once more before the game is over. I know there have probably been posts about all these topics before, but I though I could get them off my chest and maybe some of you could give me some answers. I don't think there will be anymore play throughs for me. The story is now dull and the game is repetitious. I did think the Consular class was WAY better than the Sentinel class. I used Sentinel the first time through and had some difficulties here and there. Second time through was with a Consular who absolutely OWNED everyone he came in contact with. By the time I hit Trayus Academy, I could take out an entire room full of Sith and Dark Jedi with 2 hits of force lightning. Wasn't even a challenge at that point. Made Sion and Kreia look like little bitches. Anyway..............
  7. Didn't know there was a spoilers forum, sincerest apologies all.

  9. Wild Storm you mother f'ing genius!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never thought to ask her to put her clothes on because I thought she might get pissed at me. I suppose I could have tried it out and then loaded the game back up if it didn't work, but I just didn't think that particular dialogue would mean anything. Thanks for your time dude, you just saved me from getting super pissed at this game. My only regret now is that I couldn't do this sooner, cause I'm almost done with the game now and I won't get a chance to use her that much. Thanks again man. Did the trick.
  10. In my original post I said that I have done all the sparring stuff, and I've also completed every single charitable act with her in my presence. I've taken the sparring thing as far as it will go. She keeps saying that there is nothing more she can teach me. I've already brought her to the point where she said that she would love to learn the ways of the force, but that she needed to think about it for a while. Since that point I have completed many honorable acts in front of her, and she will say stuff like "what you did was kind" blah blah blah. However, this does not gain me any further influence with her. It's almost like I've maxed out the influence possible with her. I just wanted to know if there was one specific quest that I missed which was some huge turning point for her.
  11. This is my second play through, both times as LS. I didn't know about turning other characters into jedi until after I had finished the fisrt time. I though Bao-dur was the only one, but it turns out you can get Atton and Mira as well. I cannot for the life of me seem to get handmaiden. Ever since I aquired her as a character she has been active in the party. She has never left my side at all. I've fought her till she won't fight anymore, I've completed some honorable quests in her presence and gained some influence that way as well. In fact this time through I brought her to a conversation that I never had the first time. We were on the ship and she said something like she would think about listening to my teachings, but since then I cannot get her to say anything different. I'm getting towards the end of the game again (only have Korriban left) and I don't forsee many more opportunities for influence on her. WTF am I missing that you guys aren't. It's frustrating the hell out of me. If I ask her to talk about Atris she clams up and says no way. Granted at this point in the game my persuade abilites are lower than they were the first playthrough, but I'm not so sure that matters in this case so much. I think I'm either missing an opportunity for huge influence somewhere, or I just keep saying the wrong things at the wrong times and screwing myself out of the chance. The fact that I even got her to say that she would think about learning from me was hope for a little while............but it's slowly fading away. Damn the luck. Would I be better off going DS and trying it?
  12. I started my second go at this game earlier today, and I got to the point where I board the Hawk to leave the Atris academy building. After watching the cut scene of the ship flying away, then comes some dialogue between Atris and a few handmaidens. It is after this dialogue that my game goes black screen and I can't see anything. At this point I can pause the game, unpause, bring up the menus, change gear and weapons, use items....... but then when I exit the menu it goes right back to black again. I can even hear the guy running around when I hit the buttons, but can't see jack. Has anyone else experience this one yet?
  13. I love Master Dahvernas post. Very informative. I will probably be following that plan on my next playthrough. I REALLY wanted to have the Handmaiden as a Jedi. It seemed really easy to get Bao-Dur for me. I must have just had him in the party at all the right times. Maybe my problem is that I don't switch out characters enough. Once I find a couple of characters that I like, I usually just keep sticking them in my party. For instance, Once I left Telos I went to Dxun. As soon as Mandalore became a party member, It was Him, Exile, and Bao-Dur for damn near the whole game. I never had atton or Kreia as active party members. Once I got handmaiden, it was Exile, Bad-Dur, and Handmaiden in the party the whole time. Never once used T-3, or Assasin Droid, GO-TO (?), or Mira. Visas was rare also, but she was in there for a while at first. Sidenote. At the end of my game when Kreia was explaining all the stuff that is going to happen to the NPC characters, she called Mandalore.....Canderous. I never heard him referred to as that at any other point in the game. There wasn't even hints at it for me. Was that a game development error or did I just miss a huge plot point where they explained that Mandalore was actually Canderous from KOTOR?
  14. I read another post last night where someone said that there are critical moments in the game when you need to say just the right thing to swing a character into the jedi mode. I believe that to be true. With Bao-Dur I just kept saying all the cheesy options that came up. Every now and then a new conversation option would just appear, regardless of whether or not I had just gained influence with him. It's almost like it's timed, or like there is some specific requirement of the amount of quests you've competed with him in your group before you get the options. That sounds kinda far fetched but damn, it's the only other thing I can think of. I find it funny that you guys have so much trouble getting Bao-Dur to jedi out, and my biggest problem is the Handmaiden which other people seem to have no problem with.
  15. I hate to bring this up, but I've searched this forum for about an hour and can't seem to find a clue about turning some of the characters into jedi's. I've finished the game through once as a LS male and was only able to turn Bao-Dur. I really though I would get the Handmaiden as well. I got to the end relatively fast I think, but I'm not sure that matters at all. I got the handmaiden all the way to the point where she keeps saying something like "Perhaps I'll talk about it later". I thought I had a ton of influence on her though. Did I skip some important task that would trigger another conversation option? Or did I just not influence her enough? On another note, seeing some other posts out there I see that there are many of you who can turn almost the entire party into Jedi. WTF? I only ever saw a chance with the Handmaiden. Atton, Mira, Mandalore........seems like I didn't even come close. I think I finished the game at the point where Atton kept telling me "not to bring it up" or something like that. I'd like to play through again after the patch release (got the Jek Jek Tarr graphics bug, swoop racing bug, characters who won't attack bug, multiple small graphics bugs here and there........few others) Is there anyone who would be kind enough to shed some light for me, or am I just a forum noob who doesn't deserve advice?
