  1. The characters may look oddly-proportioned and ugly during the creation phase, but once you actually start the game, I think they look good, for the most part. The only really bad ones, IMO, are the dwarves. They look like weak and child-like rather than hardy and strong like they're supposed to. You guys gotta remember this isn't an MMO - I don't think you should expect things like height/weight sliders and a bazillion different eyes, noses, etc. Especially since you can barely even see those details in-game.
  2. Shortly after leaving town I end up encountering a game-destroying glitch, every single time. It's always one of these three: - equipment disappears - abilities disappear - character gets "locked" and can't be clicked on / take any actions There doesn't seem to be any cure for these. I've restarted the game with new characters well over a dozen times and they keep happening. I've tried reloading saves but one of these bugs will invariably cut off my progress. Also tried deleting all my saved games and starting from scratch, to no avail. Sometimes the game even saves me the trouble of playing by starting out with naked party members. One time, the entire party of ruffians by the river was nude :D I read on here that some people actually managed to complete the beta - did you guys just carry on after being hit with these bugs or am I just really unlucky?
