  1. Okay guys, super secret time.

Since Bloodlines is Source engine based there really is no reason to let clipping bugs mess up your day.  Just pull up the console whenever this happens and type in 'noclip' without the quotes and you'll go all floaty and be able to pass through any surface in the game.  Also you move a lot faster than walking, I use it sometimes to travel fast because I'm lazy.

    Hey, nifty :ermm:

I've only had the one problem, and think it was a mount/dismount problem with where I was on the map.

Hm... that's considered cheating. Wasn't there something special that happened if you beat Bloodlines without cheating?

  2. GTX

        * Is just as fast as the GX2 in 1280x1024 with maxed AA+AF

Wow, this really true? I've been considering the GX2 but I only play at 1280x1024... Blah, I have to do some serious case modding before I can fit my new power supply in my case.

  3. They might as well call themselves Console Land! Before it was 50/50 on what they sold but now it's mostly console and the pc game space was taken over by used games for sale.  :ermm:

What did you expect? Them to cater to a non-existant group of clients? They are there to make money afterall.

Though I admit, I remember seeing more PC games... now it's just a rack with only the newer titles (for some odd reason the one in my local mall still has the huge Vampire Bloodlines box on the shelf o.O).

EDIT : Was Gamestop even "big" before console games?

  4. They are sellouts. Seems like the PC games shelf keeps getting smaller and smaller. Before they had a lot of shelf space, not just new games but old, harder to find ones as well.

Sellouts? I didn't realize they were around for the sake of PC gamers.

I have no problem with Gamestop. All my preowned games have always worked and I've always gotten my preorders on time.

  5. Am I the only oddball who liked Zelda 2 better than the first one?

(Except for the ending.  The road up Death Mountain was sadistically difficult.)

I'm with you... I enjoyed it a lot more. There was something very unique about it.

Megaman rocks. You guys are all just losers.

VI was really good. You could fuse with Rush and become super Megaman. :D

  6. ...Yeah, the complexity. Let's just forget for a minute that both games require a princess to be saved in the first moments yet somehow Final Fantasy "outdid" Dragon Warrior, which just shows someone didn't really play the game. What's so complex about adding a secondary quest? Or more than two? Dragon Warrior had you rescue the princess, prove you were Eldrick's descendant, perform a handful of odd jobs to get cool gear or places (like finding the three guardians of Phat Loot, and create a Rainbow Bridge), and kill the Dragonlord or somesuch. Yet Final Fantasy is more complex because it has exactly the same structure but instead of keeping it short and sweet like Dragon Warrior, it wastes hours shoving players around through even more pointless errands?

Both stories were rather poor. Final Fantasy did try to handle some more complex ideas and though it was incredibly superficial and badly executed it did far outo what Dragon Quest did.

  7. Yes it does. They have an review of it on Eurogamer:

I think I can live with its flaws (difficult controls, graphical glitches) and 7/10 is quite a good score from the Eurogamer crew.

It's an Atlus game. So expect it to be low print.

If you didn't snag it in the first week of release, your probably going to have to hunt it online.

EDIT + Offtopic : Eurogamer is probably the best review site I've ever seen.
