No there's no united ending. You can flip of all factions and go at it alone though.

Not so much, after Hazanui asked me to kill Onekaza, i had Maia in the party and i refused, the entire RDC turned against me except Maia, we fighted any hostile RDC, then we destroyed the powder storage, and after i returned to the ship Maia left a letter and definitively left the party... Losing Maia is not a problem, i never appreciated her colonial comportment, but i really hope nothing bad will happen to Pallegina if (when) i side with the Huana.
Blowing up the powder storage is one of Maia's triggers, yea. Thing is if you get the RDC to turn against you by refusing to kill the queen, then go see the queen right away that skips the "blow up the powder storage" part of the quest and Maia stays (or did on my last run).

Blood frenzy doesn't, spirit frenzy does - afaik.

I think heart seeker needs to be foe only, because of its targeting and the size of the cone it’s currently impossible to not also hit your melee when you use this.

Reaping knives triggering 1000cuts is prob too much to hope for...

Ironically seems spiritshift would be worst on pure druids, then? Though they could proc avenging storm a lot with it so that's something. Also Tekehu seems to get the short end of the stick there too with just dex immunity.
I'm now playing around with a cipher build for Ydwin and death of a thousand cuts just seems weaker than disintegrate, ticks for about half as much while costing 30 more focus. I guess the idea is to cast deathof1000 then keep proccing it with something cheap like mind wave?

Two more questions, thoughts on pierce the bell vs devastating blow?
And is there any point to a druids spiritshift? As far as I can tell you loose your weapon (which includes stuff like the storm power level from daryn’s voulge) and all you get in return is a lash?

Speaking of escape, is invisibility considered the same as stealth for purposes of triggering effects like assassinate, or the stalking cloak?
-
If you are using a mod for subclasses anyway why not making him a Streetfighter and profit from mortars + Powder Burns for a constant "Heating Up" bonus?
I forgot about that interaction. Wouldn’t this make him hit friendlies, though?
Thanks, good feedback overall.

It’s been so long I feel a bit rusty on the mechanics plus unsure about what got patched, just wanna see if this party would still work. I’ll be using mods/cheats only to modify companions as below. Plan to run veteran and do everything including the super bosses.
Eder unbroken/shieldbearer sword and shield tank - simple enough
Aloth wizard - ditto
Tekehu watershaper/barbarian darryn’s voulge - do carnage and the storm spells still proc static charge? Also seems like the only dif between static charge and static thunder is an additional affliction so it would be better to bind to druid for the storm pl, right?
Serafen wildmind/rogue dual mortar or some pistol/saber combo? I don’t remember did mortars aoe not proccing afflictions get fixed?
PC as monk - stick with fists or whispers for the endless path for some aoe shenanigans, assuming that also got fixed?
-
To get the ending where Pim turns the principi into a transport company - you need to go huana and have both Aeldys and Furrante death. Last time I followed their quest by siding with Aeldys until Furrante got hanged then just went back and right click attacked her, now I’m wondering if there is a more elegant way to turn on both?

Ha, maybe it's just an unrelated bug and I assumed it's intentional.

I do that every time and all he does is help you get through the storm and fight the fleet if I recall correctly. He doesn't kill the boss that's for sure. Maybe if you leave his essence 100% and not syphen something for the watershapers?
That's weird. Only time I got to fight the guardian was one playthrough where I skipped that quest entirely, other times I assumed that's why he doesn't spawn.
Just so we are clear, the boss we are talking about is a dragon and not the faction representative + cohorts.

If you align with a faction, under which circumstance is the Guardian not spawning? I would be greatly disappointed if I got there and there was no fight so I want to make sure I avoid that.
SpoilerIt's if you release the watershaper's enslaved dragon - he'll come and kill the end boss for you in a textscene.

Do you still have to skip the guardian if you did shadows under nekataka?
-
Are AOE weapons still borked?

Most can be good, only ones I wouldn’t bother with are island amaua, boreal dwarf & moon godlike.
-
Won’t play it out myself but Aloth’s is the only one to feel like a romance and not just a fling since he actually stays with the watcher afterwards.

That new 6 party members mod got me reconsidering my comp again, being able to bring serafen means watcher won’t need to be a cipher.
Any thoughs on watcher as barbarian/chanter? Thinking that might work even better with willbreaker than Eder due to spirit frenzy & the weakening chant. Might even go with zerker if i find a way to deal with confuse...
The alternative would be a herald or solo chanter build with sasha’s scimitar, so Eder would end up covering whichever role watcher doesn’t.

Am I correct that there is no benefit to dual wielding two guns vs gun / one handed melee weapon if no abilities are in play and you just autoattack at range?
-
Telehu as a druid/barb with darryn’a voulge would be another fun combo, put him in deltro’s cage to boot for a ton of thunder power while frenzy compensates for the speed issue.

You can generate a new save by picking choices individually, though it's at the very bottom of the options menu and has to be done before starting char creation.
Both "banished but reinstated" and "never banished" endings have her join you at the palace, you should be able to determine which of those applies by talking to her though.

I tried giving Eder unbroken and street fighter before, but found unbroken too restricting and street fighter too finicky to trigger. Next run I'm thinking of turning him into a devoded(morningstars) & bleakwalker.
I also want to turn Maia into an arcane archer but afraid it might mess up her bird, tried looking into how that dude on the nexus does it but was kind of overwhelmed just looking at the files. Obsidian added this: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/107923-tutorial-adding-new-abilities-to-a-class-v410/ with the new patch so I'll see if I can figure something out with that.

They must have patched out that workaround, same experience as yours. Yea it’s a bummer. Josh once said the intention was for her to only stick around if she was never exiled in poe1 so that might still work, try a save where she followed her orders maybe.
Ironically Maia is still happy to slaughter her own countrymen if you do it the “piss off the rdc route”. :D
That's interesting. I never played PoE 1. I just select the "benevolent" history at the top. But wouldn't the benevolent history be the one where she is "never exiled"?
The thing is that in poe1 she's ordered to make a trade deal with some guys that will **** over the local dyrwoodians. She doesn't want to do it because she thinks they'll retaliate against the valians once they realize what they have done and it will cost them more in the long run. You can convince her to do follow orders anyway and make the deal or not.
If she makes the deal then she's in good standing with the republic - and this is what I assume you would need to do for her to remain with you.
Her other ending is not making the deal and getting exiled. Then alternatively still, if in the game's ending you use soul stuff to make the dyrwood stronger, the republics eventually realize she was right and pardon her. This is not enough to make her remain with you though, already tried.
Why is Woedica back? (spoiler)

Woedica is not even really fallen, being deposed is just part of the myth she made up as her backstory.
