so I'm, starting to get a little frustrated. Been playing through the game just fine but I got to Crookspur and I want to explore the rest of the island but can't find a way to do that. The fort doesn't have any land based exits and the only other landing zone is cut off by forest/mountains, am I missing something obvious? 

Near the port there's a cave to explore!

Configure browser push notifications
