So in POE1 you can see who you're hitting whenever you try to attack or use a skill with the Barbarian, but it seems to be missing in 2. Is this because I'm playing a Berserker, or was it some design choice to remove it? Been trying to angle my character so I don't hit my allies and it would be helpful.

I want to know too. It doesn't show for me either and I'm playing a Barbarian without subclass.

 

If they removed it WTF is Obsidian thinking.
