Starting a single-class Beguiler (Cipher) It occured to me that maybe I'd be reduced to a very poor shooter for many encounters. I assume deceptions don't work on undead, constructs, and manbe others. Debuffs are notorious for not working on bosses in RPGs, do deceptions work on bosses in Deadfire? If my main venue of power is deception mind-tricks, approximately how much of the game can I expect to be a gimped fizzlebutt?
