Until yesterday the game was running fine, but when I tried to play today an error ocurred just as I pressed "Play". Attached to this post goes the outputlog mentioned at the error screen, my specs and a screenshot of the error.

 

I bought, installed and played exclusively on Steam.

Same issue here, a reboot of my PC fixes it, but I would definitely like to figure out a workaround that doesn't involve that.

I'm guessing you have an Nvidia graphics card? There was a hotfix for the most recent drivers released today (.55) that fixes an issue where the driver uninstalls itself if you leave your computer idle. Installed the hotfix and it fixed the problem for me
