I just finished campaign 5 on Legendary, got the reward screen and the card didn't appear in my vault.

I've tried reopening the app several times as indicated on other threads with the same issue, but that didn't solve it.

You won’t. You’ve now unlocked it to find during exploration. Pro-tip: turn off “Treaure Cards in Story Mode” to increase your chances of encountering it.

Weird, seeing as all other rewards were promptly added to the stash, I don't get why this one would be different.

These are still operating under the "old" method.

Ah, I see. I suppose the Liberated Blue Dragon is operating under the new method too? I just finished Into the Eye on Legendary and didn't get him aswell

Yes, all of the Legendary reward cards for the vanilla game operate the same way. Only the DLC Legendary cards are different.
