Game randomly crashing

I've recently downloaded the game on Steam after a few months without playing. Now the game keeps randomly crashing during gameplay (not during loading screens or any specific action). It just gives me a Windows message that the game stopped working and needs to be closed. I've already tried to delete and reinstall the game, no success.

​I also tried verifying the game cache, but it found no errors.
I have an Acer laptop, Intel Core I7 7500U, NVIDIA GeForce 940 MX 4gb, 8gb ram, running Windows 10.
Need some help.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
