I started to play this game today, and I noticed something strange. It seemed like the game would slow down pretty hard whenever more than a handful of characters appeared on-screen. For instance, I went from having 100+ fps to 40 by having the camera on the Hanging Tree in Gilded Vale. The same thing happens when scrolling into the dining area at the inn. I feel like with the computer I have there's no way this should be happening. Here are my specs:

i5 4670k 3.4 ghz 

GTX 1080 8GB 

24 GB DDR3 RAM


Considering the game's graphics, it's amazing that this game is struggling to run at all. I tried turning down the graphics settings, but I don't think the game was affected too much, if at all. Are there any other tips as to how I can increase performance?
