Missing animations and white march content

Hello,

 

In my PoE game it seems that I'm lacking some files or that some are corrupted. The symptoms are : 

- Some level 4+ spells create giant purple blotches instead of actual animations, so does the "heal pet" ranger ability

- Mancha is unusable as a companion, because she has no moving animation. Either she's stuck in place or she hovers in a T position.

- The dream that kickstarts the second part of the White March is just an aggravating succession of "Missing px_2_00_intro_dream XX" texts! I don't even know what to choose!

 

I tried to use the gog client to verify the files but it didn't see anything. Anyone has an idea of what to do? Would a complete reinstall help (it's quite long with my connection so it's not my first choice if I can avoid it).
