Transfer game from App Store to Steam?

I purchased the base game from App Store, and have played for some time. Recently I received some codes for additional content from a friendly game developer, but they're only valid on Steam. Can I transfer my game to Steam somehow before downloading the extra content?

 

And if I have to buy the game again on Steam, how can I make sure I don't lose my save files?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)

  3. Adjust your preference.
