Roating your screen breaks the game

When you play the game on a PC device that can rotate (I am playing on a Surface Pro) and accidentally rotate from landscape to portrait, the game will have black bars in the sides when it rotates back. These wont go away, so you will have to kill the game and start it again to get the full picture back. It does seem like it saves progress, so it is not a biggie. Just annoying. I would share a screenshot if I could, but the image button in the toolbar does not let me upload anything.
