Honestly, I am surprised no one has pointed this out. There is a small bug with the colour palettes of the leather armors for males. The bottom half of the tunic under the leather armor is the same colour as the pants. If you look at the female armor, the bottom of the tunic is the same as the top. Just go to character creation and compare them.

 

It's been there since day one.
