Pelden not dropping his note in Cragholdt

In Cragholdt, if I go and kill Pelden he does not drop his note or "key", which means I can't complete the quest. I've gotten the other 3 notes. Is there any way to manually spawn the note to my inventory?

 

(I can't upload my save game file because it is too big?!)

Oops, his note did drop, it just wasn't sorted with the other 3 and looked completely different.
